Back in the fall, we bought a piece of land and we’re planning to build a home there. Since the Holidays we’ve been sprucing up this house to get it ready to go on the market in March so we can sell it, and head to our land.
The hang up though is where to live between selling this house and building the new one.
We came up with a great idea. We’re going to buy a travel trailer and park it on the land for the few months it will take Mr. T. to build the new house. It would be a great solution because it’s hard to find a rental around here anyway, and with a dog, 2 cats, and 3 kids, its even harder.
Plus, we’ve been considering purchasing something to make camping a bit easier on our old tired bones, which this would do. And, the used ones we’re finding on Craig’s list are the same or less than what we’d spend on rent for those 3-4 mo we were building.
So, I think that’s what we’re doing. We’ll be spending the first few months on our land in a travel trailer…Now we’ve jut got to find one!
