February is our last month to get things done around here before putting the ‘ol girl on the market in March. So far, we’ve gotten the steps repaired and painted! Oh, and the trim outside that needed to be sanded and repainted is half way done. It got cold too quick on us and now we’ve got to wait a bit on that one.
Currently, the list of what needs to be done is a LOT longer than what has been done. Most of what needs doing is painting and replacing trip that our dear doggie Wilson decided to chew on, just in case it was something good to eat!!
There’s plenty of other little jobs too, none of which are fun, but all of which need to get done! Luckily (actually, not so luckily….it does free up his time a bit though!), Mr. T. is out of work for right now too. So he’s had some time to get to work on this stuff, as well as start some work on the property.
Currently, he’s scanning the Home Depot website for any sign of some affordable tile so we can tile our entry way. We’d normally buy from the local flooring shop, but, Mr. T. saw these awesome Home Depot coupons so he decided he’d try and find what we need there so we can keep on the cheap as much as possible.
Hopefully, given a bit more time, and some diligence on our part, all of this will get done, we’ll sell the house, and before we know it we’ll be living on our land!!!!!
